How Did Martin Luther King Jr Affect Society

Martin Luther King Jr. was an American Baptist minister, activist, and he was also a humanitarian, and he was also a leader in the African – American civil rights movement. Martin Luther King Jr. changed the cruel things that was happening in the world. Martin Luther king Jr. was born on January 15th in 1929 in Atlanta GA. He was also married to Coretta Scott King(1953-1968). Martin Luther King had 4 children named … Martin Luther King 3, Yolanda King, Bernice King, Dexter Scott King. Martin Luther King Jr. had a wonderful dream that boys and girls , women and men could all come together as one and treat each other how they would want to be treated. Martin Luther King Jr. dream was based off of everyone getting alone and also working together to make good things happen and
he also talks about everyone being equal … for example (African Americans and Whites) .
Martin Luther King wanted the African Americans and the Whites to get alone, because the Whites and the African Americans had the most problems out of all the races. Martin Luther King also talked about racism and how it should end , and also how racism wasn’t right, and how racism wasn’t fair to everyone else and how everyone else should have the same rights just like everyone else have … and do what everyone else does without arguing, fighting, and also leading into something major( death, injuries ). Martin Luther King also won a Noble Peace Prize Award for Non-Violent resistance to racial prejudice in America. Martin won that prize at the age of 35 years of age the Georgia born minister was the youngest to ever receive the Nobel Peace Prize Award. Also in 1963 Martin Luther King JR. was arrested and sent to jail because him
and few more people were protesting the treatment of the black community in Birmingham, and Alabama and why it should stop and how it was so cruel and also not right. The court had ordered that Martin Luther King Jr. could not hold protest in Birmingham. Martin Luther King Jr. died on April 4th in 1968 in Memphis TN, were Martin Luther King has been shot and killed. Martin Luther King was assonated and killed in Memphis while standing on the outside of his balcony at 6pm , Martin was on his way to a dinner as he gotten struck in the jaw with a bullet and severed his spinal cord. Martin was pronounced dead when he arrived to the hospital. Martin Luther King died at the age of 39.
