Most of the goals blacks had was either to have freedom like any other white or to have their own civil rights. Some blacks thought going to court was to much trubble, so they would go protest in a place they weren't supposed to be in. one example of this topic would be the dinner sit in. blacks weren't allowed to sit at the front of the dinner but for this protest they did it anyway and of course they got sent to jail for it later. Blacks were not allowed to vote in the south so to vote in a country they live in they migrated north for the right to vote.
After the war a lot of the blacks still stayed unemployed. Yet trying to server a whites country for their own rights and freedom didn’t work out the way they thought it would after the war ended. So the people who were on board with helping the blacks with their rights decided to establish a federal civil rights committee that would help support
