The first thing that as a young person changed his beliefs and actions as an adult is because of the many experiences he had. At the age of six Martin Luther King Jr.’s friends stopped playing with him because their parents did not want them playing with someone from a different race. This experience taught him the many racial issues everyone faces in the world and later was one of the reasons that he started the nonviolent movement. Another experience he had was when he was in high school and he did a speech about laws, he said the 13th 14th and 15th commandments, but when martin was on a bus returning home a white passenger kicked them out of their seats. According to “Heeding the Call by Diana Childress”, “They stood in the aisle for the 90 mile trip.” This was one reason that caused Martin to strive to change the laws about racial issues on buses, and start the Montgomery bus boycott. …show more content…
