respect for one another. They played the same places, gave each other’s rides. They learned to play from each other. It was most helping each other during them times. Look what it has brought to the world. Everybody mostly loves some type of music. I remember my uncle’s during family gathering standing outside their cars listening to music, them smiling and laughing. Which there was the happy juice for part of that happiness.
I am sure, when the black artist first started out playing across the country; they went through very hard times.
Things done to them, thank the dear Lord, it did not stop them from making and playing music. Look at what Robert Johnson did for the entire musician that came after him with his teaching.
I think it is kind of weird and funny at the same time. The white man never touched the music of Robert Johnson. He was gave the title of the king of delta blues, now that is funny. You know the white men were wondering what is so special about him. If you have a passion about music then you understand the love for Robert Johnson’s music.
Look at what Elvis Presley brought not just his “rockabilly” music but breaking the television performance. Each one back in them time of the forties and fifties paved the way for everyone today in music. In addition, look at the comfort listening to music brings to everyone. If you are down, sad listen to some of you favorites, that mood starts to improve. The fifties was a happier, peaceful time for people. The worries were not as they are today. You knew your neighbors, walking down the road no big deal, even hitchhiking, was nothing back
then. The business day’s back then was the harmful part for the musicians. The white could not control them from taking place. Therefore, what was the next best thing, make money off them? Greedy people played the factor as it does today. Most the musicians of this day and time are little smarter. When you view Alan Freed, he had it made if only greed had not got in his way. Then the poor man died broke, karma. The white men made it more harmful on the black’s mostly but the whites to. Thinking is was a sin for this type of music. My heart goes out the ones that have suffered but at the same time very thankful for them. I wish I knew who said the phrase “Rock n Roll is here to stay, I would hug their neck!
