In our present day society, people rely on technology for just about everything, from entertainment to day to day chores. What’s more, this phenomenon is global, advanced technology being found in every corner of the Earth. How did our society get this way? Events throughout history and people who made lasting changes to technology are at the heart of the cause, and in order to figure out the roots of humanity’s transition to technology, these people and events are the things we need to look to.
