World War II caused the Cold War which led to making a huge impact on the 1980’s. The Cold War went on for many years after the war and affected how everyone lived each day. The Cold War also affected entertainment over the years. A lot of settings and plots in films, television shows, and books took place in the Cold War, or stories about World War II. The Cold War took place between the USA and the USSR. Many arguments had to do with capitalism vs. communism. Both were longing to have expansion and most importantly power.
