Revolution. Due to Industrialization, it allowed a huge production of rail and rolling stock to go on rails. Soon, railroads would begin to spread all across the United States & eventually reaching the Pacific, and it quickly increased. Product for the railroad we’re easily transported across the country. A high majority of the people living in the city we’re workers working in the factories of the industrial age. The industrial Revolution made cities larger. Cities had been more important with transportation before the industrial revolution, but had not been major in economic engines. As factories sprang in the industrial revolution, cities grew more and more and attracted more workers. The cities became very important to the economy because they we’re the site at which valuable goods
we’re being produced. Manufactures provided company housing close to the factories so the entire work force could walk to work.
3RD) The industrial revolution helped to increase the population of the United States and the diversity of the population. As countries grew, it caused a high & richer need for more workers.
Immigrants from Europe begin to come to the US in increasing numbers. As some came to find work in the factories and mines, as others came to find industries that supported those factories.
Many of the workers came from different parts of Europe. Although, you had several Americans also the number of immigrants we’re higher than most previous American’s. Due to the
