In 1922 Weimar Germany couldn’t afford to pay any other instalment of money to the allies. France and Belgium did not believe this a single bit so in 1923 French and Belgium troops invaded the Ruhr, Germanys greatest industrial area. They took over every building that could’ve produced money for Germany like the iron and steel factories, the coal mines, and railways, including the huge Krupp’s steelworks factory. By this sequence of take overs Germany was producing o goods what so ever which started to make Germanys economy to suffer. With the drop of confidence, it caused a crisis within Weimar Germany itself, especially when the prices started to heighten to match the inflation. Quickly things went out of control and what’s known as hyperinflation set in. prices of everything went up faster than anybody could spend their money. This ultimately led to Hitler coming to power with the promises he made after joining the National Socialistic Deutsche Arbiter Party
