Thomas Edison is one of the greatest inventors in the world. He was born on February 11, 1847 in Ohio, US. He was an American inventor, scientist and businessman. He have a lot of inventions that made our life easier, such as light bulb, microphone and the vote recorder. He is well known from his light bulb invention, it was expensive and short lived. He invented the microphone in 1878 which makes the communication easier. He invented the vote recorder when he was 22 years old while he was working as a telegrapher. The goal of this device is to help the legislators in the US Congress record their votes quicker than the voice vote system.
