Alice still wants Rosemary to be her best friend and doesn’t want to lose her again. When Rosemary starts talking to Alice, Alice didn’t have
enough time to grief and understand that Rosemary is actually dead. She acts as if Rosemary is still alive, causing her friends and family to worry. Her friends try to keep her from being lonely. When they do that, it angers Rosemary because she only wants to talk with Alice and she starts to get possessive. Also, Alice tends to forget Rosemary’s restrictions and feelings as a ghost which causes some problems in their friendship. Alice doesn't consider Rosemary’s feeling because she doesn’t understand how it feels to die and not be able to move on.
