How Does Oprah Winfrey Show Self Reliance

All our progress is an unfolding, like a vegetable bud. You have first an instinct, then an opinion, then a knowledge as the plant has root, bud, and fruit. Trust the instinct to the end, though you can render no reason. Oprah rooted from an abused child to a well known tv actress. Once she excelled as an actress she went on to have her own tv show called the Oprah Winfrey show. With her show she was able to recruit other abused and neglected people and show them that there is life after the abused.
So to me self reliance is the way you feel about something and how you act. If you really like something and you what to do it then do it. Self reliance to me is going for something all by yourself and without anyone helpping you get there.
Oprah is a black african american self made millionaire,to which she enjoyed sharing her wealth to help others. Theres been time whens she’s provided some of her guests with shelter, vehicles, cholthing, medical, dental care, and etc. So to sum it all up Oprah Winfrey came from rags to riches, and wanted to give back to the less unfortunate. Some may look at her as a millionaire but others look at her as a savior.
In the year 1972, Oprah Winfrey won the Miss Black Tennessee beauty pageant she proved that a black woman can make it anywhere if they sets there mind and hearts to it.
So once again Oprah came from rags to riches from being an abused and neglected child. Oprah testified before the US congress and initiated the National Child Protection Act in 1991 because she was abused as a child her self in her own household. So she doesn’t want other children to continue to be abused and to let it go
unnoticed.

She came from a beauty pageant to a radio show to her own talk show and on to a self made millionarie, who only set out to help others that are less unfortunate then herself.
Her philosophy is that women can do anything a man can do once they set their minds to it, and that no child should have to live with being abused and neglected in there lives.

Don't waste yourself in rejection, nor bark against the bad, but chant the beauty of the good. This is saying that don’t let one downfall bring you down just get back up and move on. Don’t look at all the bad stuff look for the best thing about what happen. Oprah was a child that was abused and when she grew up she made sure that others wouldn’t have to go though abused and have a happy life.
