The Reconstruction period was the era in which the United States of America was struggling with the question of how to merge the newly freed African Americans that were in the millions into the social, political, and in the labor systems. There were a lot of lynchings that took place during the Reconstruction across the country in which hundreds of black people were killed. The South causes it due to the fact it widespread violence, intimidation, and fraud. The South is the one who is responsible for killing the Reconstruction.

To start with, the South is responsible for killing the Reconstruction mostly because the KKK and other white supremacist groups' mission is to block the way and to demolish the government of Reconstruction, kill or intimidate the black and the white Republican advisers and to use violence to make sure that people are not voting. Those type of groups are not the good guys, and they will do anything to cause fear to the people with harm.
The Jim Crow law is any law that carries out racial segregation in the states that are in the south.
