How does innovation drive medicine? Medicine is vital to our everyday lives as humans. Medicine is what we use as humans to assist us in our healing process whether it be using a cast to help a person's arm heal or it be oral medication to help our immune system fight a cold. Medicine is also used to help humans and our bodies with problems such as diabetes by creating a reaction from the body. Medicine is everywhere and continues to grow as America and the human race grows. Innovations in medicine is needed and is crucial to a growing human society where humans look for things to be more efficient and easier. Innovation drives medicine because there is always room for improvement. There is always a need to improve in medicine to decrease the chance of side effects or signs and symptoms created from medicine. Humans are always looking for ways to improve products created within the medical field so that they can heal faster. Products that are innovated make things more efficient. Innovating products means that the product will most likely cost more as well. With all the different parts added

Anything that would make things more simple for humans is always a plus. The easier things are for humans the happier they are. A great example of this happening is the innovation of the wheelchair. Wheelchairs created today are easy to take apart, easy to operate and take little space. In today's society products are made to be easier understood and take up less space. There is a need for innovation as well because of the fact that there are new diseases and disorders and with the advancements of new products they can be used to examine the body and find out what the problem is faster. Doing things faster and more efficient allow for more lives to be saved. Innovation of products are always needed to speed things up while decreasing the possibilities of errors
