How Psychology Affects My Personal Life
And My Career Choice Over the semester, I have discovered that psychology is a rather interesting subject. Originally I did not think this course would have much to offer me, and I perceived this class as more oriented toward students who are psychology majors. However, as the semester went on and the class covered a more broad range of topics, I realized there are certain aspects of this course that interest me. Some of these areas relate to the career I aspire to have after college, whereas others pertain to my personal life. In coordination with what has been stated in class, the article by Morry, M. M. and Staska, S. L. discussing self-image of university students, has certainly shown me real life applications of psychology.
My Career: Civil Engineering The field of Civil Engineering has always been an interest of mine. Since freshman year of high school this has been my desired field of employment. This course has brought to light various aspects that I will be able to use in my future career choice.
