The constitution was made to uphold a republic and the republic is meant to represent the people and uphold their rights. To the idea that these rights were changeable and could change in order to stay relevant. The constitution was written in stone. But supporters supported a living constitution in order to stay relevant and adhere. It also reflected the idea that human beings were always evolving/changing so the constitution had to as well. More democracy was needed to change a system that was based on natural rights and into a system that was based on evolving rights. Rights were no a contract between man and government. This new contract could be negotiated and altered. This new view still believed that people held the power. People had the power to prevent tyranny or abusing power. All these new technological advances changed politics and the government as well. These new kingdoms were established based on the idea of having control over material things. This thirst for control reached over government. The known conditions of labor were beyond the control of the people based on industrial dictatorship. Businesses grew, became stronger than the government. The old political system can’t survive without the help of the new system based on economic equality. The old system didn’t recognize big businesses which were becoming more powerful than the government. So the government had to focus on protecting the workers’ rights, social security, medical and education. Transformed from natural
