To be healthy, we should eat a balanced diet. A balanced diet consists of seven classes of nutrients, that is carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins, fibers, minerals and water. We should eat a lot of carbohydrate-rich food and also vegetables as they contain vitamin C and fibers which can prevent constipation. Besides, we should avoid taking in too much oily food like fried chicken, fast food and fried fish as they will cause obesity besides increasing the risk of getting diabetes.
In fact, we should also avoid unhealthy habits like smoking and taking drugs. This is because they will cause cancer and also damage our health. In addition, cigarettes contain nicotine which can cause addiction. Tar contained in the smoke will blacken the lungs as well as irritating the air passage way.
Furthermore, we ought to exercise regularly to expel toxins in our body by perspiration. What does it mean by exercise regularly? Because of busy lifestyle, humans tend to take less time on exercise. However, it is a fact that exercising for 30 minutes a time and three times a week is recommended for busy people. By exercising, we can also strengthen our immune system against sickness. Also, it can help preventing somebody from becoming obese.
