How to Change Flat Tire
“How To Change a Flat Tire” speech:

Specific Purpose: To inform my audience how to change a flat tire properly and easily.

Central Idea: I want to explain how to change a flat tire and provide tips to follow to make it easy and fun.

Introduction

Attention Getter: What if you happen to get a flat tire in the middle of the night and you don’t know how to do it and no one answers their phone to help you? Have you ever thought that one day you will need to know how to change a flat tire?
Thesis: Today, I will explain how to change a flat tire and give some tips to follow to make it simple and easy.
Credibility statement: I have changed quite a few flat tires in my life and have a lot of experience working with cars as my hobby and also because I’m a mechanical engineer.

VI. Preview Statement: I want to explain and illustrate how to change flat tires in a proper way and make it easy by finding the tools we need, changing the tire step by step, and providing tips to follow while you’re changing the flat tire.

Body
I. First, we gather the tools we need to change the flat tires but just make sure you have pulled the car over to the side of the road on an even/leveled ground.
A. We find the good tire(also known as the ‘spare’) in the trunk of the car and get it out and lay it flat so it doesn’t happen to roll away in the middle of the street.
B. Get the tools from the trunk as well: you will find the lug wrench/ standard cross wrench, diamond jack and get it ready to use( I will show pictures of tool kit and tools). C. also, you could use gloves to keep you hand clean and safe from injures.

II. here, I’m going to explain each step for changing the flat tire
