Spaghetti with Meatballs Spaghetti with meatballs is an Italian-American combination that contains spaghetti, meatballs, and tomato sauce. Italian American cuisine is the food of Italian immigrants came and their descendants, who have modified Italian cuisine under American culture. Around the 1920’s this dish of Spaghetti and meatballs became a go-to, very popular dish in America. Replicating this dish is moderately easy, if you know you’re way around the kitchen. To begin, you will need to gather all ingredients necessary to make the meatballs. First, you will need two pounds of ground meat whether it is beef or a combination of beef and pork, either will work just fine. Next, you will need four, one inch slices of white country bread, toasted to a golden brown color. The four slices of bread will need to be diced up into about one inch cubes. In addition, you will also need two large brown eggs, one cup of shredded parmesan cheese, and three tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce. Finally, you will need a dash of several different seasonings such as basil, oregano, salt, pepper, parsley, onion powder, and garlic powder. Once all the ingredients that are required have been gathered, it is time to start preparing to make the meatballs. Before beginning the process of combining all of the ingredients, you must pre-heat the oven to four hundred degrees. In a large mixing bowl, combine the two pounds of ground meat with the eggs, toasted bread cubs, parmesan cheese, Worcestershire sauce, and the seasonings. After all the ingredients are in the mixing bowl with washed bare hands, it is time to start combining all of the ingredients thoroughly. You will know when everything is mixed well when the mixture has become thick, and you can no longer see big pieces of the bread in the mixture. Next, it is time to start forming the meatball mixture into meatballs. You will need

Throughout my adult life I encounter many animated debates with my non-Italian friends over the difference of tomato gravy and tomato sauce. Most of the time they were usually satisfied with my family explanation, but after my recent Internet search I discovered the name “tomato gravy” originated from east coast of the United States. Some Italian Americans on the East Coast refer to tomato sauce as "gravy", "tomato gravy", or "Sunday gravy", especially sauces with a large quantity of meat…
