How to Prepare for a storm

Storms are dangerous parts of everyday life. Some can be extremely deadly, while others can do nothing more than a little wind. Depending on where you live, they can come more often than not, and can also be more severe. The key to making it through a storm that knocks out the power, or surviving a deadly hurricane, is a proper preparation. Having a decent place to hide safe, contacting family and loved ones and gathering supplies, you can be sure to survive in the most dangerous conditions that a bad weather can offer. Staying safe during storm is the most important thing to think about during any stormy situation. It is always a bad idea to stay outside the safe area or house during a dangerous storm. Been exposed outside creates a big risk to you life. Is not that a lighting is going to hit you, but a lighting might hit a tree and that tree could fall on you. If you don’t feel secure at you house ask any closer familiars to stay at their place, or maybe even a neighbor. People should always make sure that at least their house is safe enough to stay at, you would not like to be trapped in your house because it got floated or destroyed. If there is nothing else that you can do and you have to stay at a not so secure place, normally the best place to stay would be at the ground floor in case of the house coming down. It is better to get trapped than to be chorused. After the storm if everything is floated which is very common, people should move to the highest place they can, roof or second floor would be my suggestions.
Gathering supplies should be the first task on the list when the skies start to darken. With our technology today, storms are always announced long before they even happen. As I mentioned before it should be the first thing to do in mind because during the storm would be risky and almost impossible to gather supplies. The announcements can tell you when the storm is going to start, but they cannot tell you at what time when will it finish or
