I’ve been in the League of Legends community for quite a long time. While I haven’t been around since the beta version, I’ve been around long enough to know the ins and outs of the game. While I’ve never been what some people consider as high Elo, I do consider myself to be extremely knowledgeable of the game itself. I love to teach newer players the intricacies of the game that they may not know. These things include which champions to ban and pick, mastering last hitting creeps, communicating with your team, and capitalizing on your opponent’s mistakes. If you follow my steps and advice, you too will be very successful at solo queue in League of Legends. The first thing that anyone must learn to advance their gameplay is to simply learn what is and is not a good pick. Not every champion is always good in every situation. With this said, bans are important. Let’s say you’re first ban; this also means that you are also first pick, so do not pick a character that you do not know how to play. This may seem like common sense to most, but some people may see that a new character was just released or see that an over powered champion is open and jump right on them. In doing this, they lose their lane due to the sheer lack of experience with the champion. When losing your lane, you have no one to blame but yourself. Mastering a few characters in each lane will give you optimal chances of getting to pick a character you are comfortable with and even giving you a chance to counter pick the enemy team. Always know what champions counter the champions you normally use. Knowing who to pick or ban at the right time will give you and your team a higher chance of winning. As we move on to the lane phases of the game, your game mechanics and knowledge will be put to the test. Although the lane phase is different in solo queue then in premade, you must still perform to the best of your abilities to help your team win the
