If you have ever lived in a small town you know how tight and close the school community can be. This was exactly the situation in these two schools, so as you can imagine it is very difficult to change from one community to another. Before going to Joseph I hadn’t really been challenged hard academically, but once I got to Joseph that all changed. I enrolled in a couple more challenging courses which taught me a lot. My teachers didn’t take me slacking they pushed me to work hard and put everything I have into it this caused my to raise my GPA by immediately after starting a Joseph. They also taught me other skills such as time management, organization and renewed my thirst to learn.
Once I got to Joseph I was reunited with a teacher that I had known before in Cove. This person also happens to be the boys basketball coach. Playing basketball has taught me many things, but this new coach taught me even more. I learned to push myself to the absolute limit physically and mentally and that I had more to give then I have ever thought possible. Another thing my coach taught me was how to work in a team setting as well as being a role player. This experience is something that I truly benefited from and will continue to stay with me for years to come.
The experience of moving to a new school ended up being one of the best things that I have ever happened to me. All of the people in the school have taught me some many great new qualities as well as teaching me how to adapted into a new environment.I know for sure I can bring all of these great new qualities to your
