I choose all eight of these colors because they each represent me in different ways. At my church we have a group called young womens for girls ages 12 through 17; these are the colors that we use to represent our values. Gold represents virtue; we believe in having high moral standards, garnishing our thoughts with virtue and virtuously living our lives “at all times and in all things, and in all places”. White represents faith; we believe in increasing our faith in God and that “faith is not having a perfect knowledge of things; therefore if ye have faith ye hope for things which are not seen, which are true”. Blue represents divine nature; we believe that we all have divine qualities given from God such as being a mother. Red represents individual worth; we believe that we are each of great worth in the sight of God and that he loves us all and knows us each by name. We all have a mission to fulfill on this Earth and I believe in striving to fulfill that mission. Green represents knowledge; we believe that gaining knowledge in all things is very important, this is why I try to read out of The Book of Mormon everyday and why getting a good education is so important to me. Orange represents choice and accountability; we believe in choosing good over evil and accepting responsibility for our own decisions.
