How To Write Complain Emails
Dear Dr. Orianda Beach,

I am writing this to express my concerns regarding my mother’s recent dissatisfactory experience with your hospital. I would like to inform you of a poor behavior of your receptionist with my mom yesterday while she had an appointment at 3:00 pm.

The situation is my mom is 88 years old and she has cancer. Yesterday was her appointment day and she went to the hospital for her monthly checkup. The receptionist told her that she does not made any appointment for today. While she was asked by mom to recheck the record, she refused to do so. After awaiting the old lady for 15 minutes, she said she found her in today’s appointments list, but told her that for three hours now doctors are busy and the doctor can not visit her so she should come after three hours.

I am sure that this is a rare problem since not all receptionists behave the same way, and I can understand that since your hospital is the best health care center in town, it is usually busy. However, she has being choosing you since three years and she pays $ 1600 each year to receive best quality treatment. It is though to bring into your consideration with the hope that this inconvenience will not happen in the future specially with very old people since they can not take care of themselves and waiting alone for 3-4 hours outside the home.

I hope you will assure me that this will not happen again. I can be reached by phone xxxxxx or by email at xxxx

Thank you for taking the time and reading my email.

Best Regards

In this candidate’s facility, shift report is being done away from the patient bedside, usually at the nurses’ station, in a doctor’s charting room or outside of the patient’s room in the hallway. When a patient is admitted to Women’s Services at this candidate’s hospital, a flier is placed in the admission folder with the title “Our Promise to our Patients…” The first two bullet points outline our promise to include the patient and their family in all aspects of their care plan. One of those aspects is including the patient and their family—if the patient wishes to include their family—in a bedside report.…
