in contemporary society, the adolescents are drawing even more attentions. people hold contrasting views over wether young people should follow traditions of society or free to behave as individual.
( there is no consensus on…)
in my opinion, each view has its own merits.
young people should follow traditions of the society to some extent. traditions of society involves the way to communicate with people, the way to deal with workplace, etc. it does make some sense to become tradition. complying with the social tradition helps young people to blend in the society fast and easy without misunderstanding and frustration of feeling alienated and aloof by others, making a even more harmony society.
following the social rules help to stabilise the society and keep crimes rate low. some young people mis understood the idea to behave freely , they behave reckless and bold, they are irresponsible and rude. instilling them with the idea with following the tradition would curb those people from committing crimes or making a mess from very early stage therefore boost the public security and peace.
but indiscriminately complying with the rules bring about disadvantages far beyond advantages.
first of all, it restrained and suppress the innovation in technology and business development.
young people are characterised by their imagination and innovation, without a certain thinking model they can always jump out of the box and create new ideas. young zack burger founded Facebook with his very own ideas of dating and matching.
Mayun of Ali group profoundly transformed the online trading of china.
