In fact, a summary of Howard the Duck’s history is Howard disappeared from his home world when the power hungry demon Thog the Nether-Spawn used his magic to cause the “Interdimensional Cosmic Axis” to shift. Howard was taken from his home dimension and dropped into the middle of Florida on our Earth. In an effort to set the Cosmic Axis right and return home, Howard joined with “Korrek the Barbarian”, who also came from another dimension, Jennifer Kale, Dakimh the Enchanter, and the Man-Thing. The battle against Thog ended for Howard when he fell off the other dimensional Stepping Stones of Oblivion and landed back on our Earth in the city of Cleveland, Ohio. In Cleveland, Howard first met the young Life Model Beverly Switzler when they were both menaced by the costumed criminal accountant “Pro-Rata.” Howard and Beverly escaped and began living together. Their relationship lasted a long time, but is now apparently over according to superhero database.com. This greatly differs from King Shark because King Shark’s history is completely unknown. One of the only places you will find anything what so ever is a website that calls itself the Superhero Database
It’s unclear who would win in a fight between King Shark and Howard the Duck because they both have many advantages and disadvantages. For example, King Shark is very large and bulky, making him strong while Howard the Duck

    Huck Versus Odysseus

Huck Finn and Odysseus are surprisingly similar given the time period in which they were conceived. They are both cultural heroes, embodying the ideals of their country. Huck is the epitome of the American rugged individualism. Throughout his journeys, he does whatever he wants while living on the fringes of society. Odysseus’s role in the Illiad gave him the status of a Greek hero because he outsmarted the Trojan army with his famous horse. He is known for being a clever and resourceful character, much like Huck. They are both skilled liars and trickster figures, and they use intelligence and their sly ways to get out of trouble. This is seen in the scene in Adventures of Huckleberry Finn where Huck escapes his father using intelligence not commonly found in a twelve-year old. There is a parallel to be found in Odysseus’s tricking Polyphemus to escape the cave. It is worth remarking that both encounters involve a much weaker person deceiving a drunken entity that is larger and stronger.…

In five months alone, over 3,000 sea lion pups, at a point teetering towards death, washed ashore on Southern Californian beaches, fifteen times more than in past years, due to toxic algal blooms. Merriam Webster calls algal blooms, “rapid and excessive growths of a plankton population.” Since 1998, scientists have been aware of sea lions and their pups being intoxicated by domoic acids from toxic algal blooms. Agricultural and suburban areas are the main culprits as excess fertilizer and pesticides from fields and lawns are washed away in urban runoff and travel to our oceans by stormdrain. The nutrients in fertilizers and pesticides are overfeeding the algae, producing toxic algal blooms that expel poisonous…
