Environmental analysis Landslide Limousines will conduct an environmental analysis. The analysis will consist of external forces and conditions on a Landslide Limousines’ survival and growth strategies. The growth strategies are focusing on the drivers, customer service and reservations, fleet maintenance and finance will be a part of the environment analysis. A SWOT analysis will need to be conducted on all of the growth strategies to determine what the steps will be obtains growth for the company. “SWOT analysis is used. This is a framework that looks at the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats affecting a business, both internally and externally” (O 'Farrell, 2014). The analysis will have to factor in what the customer service and reservations department will need a space that will provide all the accommodations for the department can support. The drivers will have to limousines that are loaded with all the amenities to support the customers wanting to book Landslide for their services. The limousines will have to have full bars available to the customers as well as comfortable seating and legroom to accommodate the customer. The …show more content…
fleet should entail different makes and models of limousines such as stretch Hummers and Escalades for the customers to have a variety of choices. The mechanics environment will ensure the up keep and maintenance of the fleet will allow for the growth of the company. The purchasing of additional limousines will have to be taken in consideration to support the continued growth of the company.
Individual analysis
The individual analysis for Landslide Limousines will be to focus on the individual training needs of the employees who need training.
The manager wills access each one of his or her direct reports and access what or if any training is needed for the employee. The analysis should be centered on the desired performance and the actual performance. This information will be reviewed in the analysis information from customers about the employee’s performance. Information from peer to peer interactions and how the person supports the company’s goals and objectives. My recommendation is for Landslide Limousine to use the individual performance improvement plans. The plans should come from self-analysis. “IDPs
provide a blueprint for self-development, and should include:
1. Statements of aims —desired changes in knowledge, skills, attitudes, values, or relationships with others.
2. Definitions —descriptions of areas of study, search, reflection, or testing, including lists of activities, experiences, or questions that can help achieve these aims.
3. Ideas about priorities —feelings of preference or urgency about what should be learned first.” (Cascio, 2013, p.300).
The employee will help create the individual performance improvement plans. Once this is
accomplished the training environment will need to be structured to create maximum learning for
all the employees receiving training.
Criteria
The training for Landslide Limousine will need to be accessed for the criteria that will be used for the training. First, the human resource managers will need to measure the effectiveness of the training. This can be determined by the reaction to the training by the employees. Next would be the learning that was gained by the employee from the training. This will be determined by the learning objectives and how the employees who were trained retained the information. Next will be how the employees behaviors have changed from the knowledge gained from the training. Then the managers will need to analysis the results. How the training affects the learning objectives that were set by Landslide Limousine for their employees.
