In the movie Avatar, it is seen that humans bring materialistic desires with them to the moon, Pandora. This is where humans have found a superconductor, unobtanium, which would provide enormous amounts of energy for the people on Earth. There was so much preparation that went into this film. Not only did this project end with a great product but also it has brought new and improved technology with it. When the average movie goer is in the theater the time and effort that is put into the movie is not thought of. This film was first thought of in the 1990’s. James Cameron felt as though it could not be done because the technology needed was not yet developed. By the 2000’s he knew it was time.
