Humorous Wedding Speech: Jake Epping's Monologue
Hello everyone. Today I’ll be giving a monologue from a character called Jake Epping in the book 11.22.63. In this book Jake is asked by a good friend of his, Al, who is dying, to go through a ‘rabbit hole’ which takes you back to 11 May 1958 at 11:58am. Every time you make a trip, it lasts 2 minutes in 2011 time, and overtime you go back, it is a reset. Jake’s task is to go back to try to stop Lee Harvey Oswald from assassinating John F. Kennedy. In the scene I have based the monologue off, Jake is angry at Al, and although he agreed to do it, he is already having second thoughts.

Why did he have to get me into this? I didn't want anything to do with it. First he wants me to waste 5 years of my life, and then he wants me to stop an assassination
