I Am Ralph Monologue
I am Ralph, for several reasons, a lot of children and I was trapped in a small island, because of the accident of the airplane. Our air plane was shot down. I wrote this letter to ask for your help. If you see this letter, could you help us?
We really need your help. I am an England boy. My father is a naval officer of England. I believe he will come and save us. Could you help me to tell him that I am here and still alive. I am the leader of these children. I had a conch that almost everyone listen to me. And a lot of boys, their names are Piggy, Simon, Jack, Sam, Eric and so on. Piggy is a fat boy with glasses. He also has an asthma, could not run or swim. Jack is the leader of the chorus. A lot of children that are below 10 years old.

When the boys all assemble, Piggy is the only one who tries to make an effort to learn their names: ¨Piggy moved among the crowd, asking names and frowning to remember them. The children gave him the same simple obedience that they had given to the man with the megaphones”(Goulding 15). This quote relates him to a man with a megaphone, and in this way he symbolizes life back home. This means that when Piggy dies, all civilization is lost, along with the conch; "exploding into a thousand white fragments" (Goulding 209). Now, the boys are truly…

Once a drastic change occurs in an individual’s life, they often find it difficult to relocate or recreate their state and situation before the alteration, thus, repeatedly struggle with what presents them in substitution. Red Woolen Misconceptions I am numb. The shrieks from the small children bounding around like molecules in a heated solution cut through the air, and despite this joyous sound, I am numb. My child will never be able to make that sound. My hand instinctively moves to caress my now flat stomach, a habit developed over the past six months as it grew.…

The bitter night Avah was killed the whole town was out celebrating. The Spring Festival was an annual affair and only the most isolated of persons would have not been there. It was a festival meticulously planned out by those intrigued in such matters and each detail was carried out to exact perfection. The Humphrey family would perform a skit each year at exactly six-thirty, the mayor would grace the audience with a well-planned speech at six-forty-five. At seven o’clock the potluck dessert would be brought out by the women and then once a half hour had passed, enough time for the people to converse with each other, the festival games would begin.…

    Monologue For Free Willy

I chose to blog about the movie Free Willy (1993), which is about the relationship between a boy and a young Orca whale. It is one of my favorite movies because I watched it many times (along with the rest of the franchise) when I was younger, as my sister had an odd obsession with killer whales. I believe the trailer does a just job of explaining what transpires over the course of the movie for many reasons. The first reason being the opening monologue, which expresses the major conflict in the movie: Willy (the Orca) is brought into captivity and forced to perform at a rundown amusement park. This monologue also introduces the main characters, Jesse (the boy) and Willy.…

As much as i hated those stinky brat (That only came to hit on my distant cousin), training just didn't feel the same without them, the worst part of this eerie silence is probably how it keep remind me i'm about to sell grandfather's dojo to pay that 50.000$ dollar debt my good-for-nothing failure of a father left behind after his death. "It has been two years since Harold was duped into that dreadful war, and we have been living comfortably with Mr. Brewster. It’s been a good life, one with purpose, but lately I have been dismayed, and I can’t escape the growing feeling of guilt I have over Harold’s lost leg. One day I’m sitting in the enormous kitchen I’ve grown so fond of. The greasy, intoxicating smell of bacon circulates throughout the air, and the sun is warm honey spilling through the clouds and into the room. Mr. Brewster strides in like he is walking on air and sees the pain in my face immediately. "…
