I Did Not Support My Pre-Experience
No, my post-assessment results were did not support my pre-experience expectations. My post-assessment results were overall higher than my pre-experience expectations. I think this happened because when I was taking the pre-assessment I was imagining what it was like the last two times I have done the Adventure Challenge Course. In the past, I did not have very much fun because I did not really participate due to the fact I was scared and did not like how everyone was able to watch me. However, this time I felt more comfortable with the people I was around, and felt more open to participating in all the activities that were offered.
Yes, specific motivations differed when I took the assessment the first time. For example, the first time I took the assessment I had put “be challenged to do better each time” as a 2, and then the second time I took the assessment I had marked it as a 4. My favorite games we played were giants, wizards, elves as well as all of the mini group games. All of these games were fun because we all got a chance to work together as a team, dealing with specific guidelines and rules while still managing to have a lot of fun with each other. I will never forget how funny it was trying to maneuver around a group of five on a log because we had to order ourselves by birth date without talking or stepping off the log. I do not think I have never laughed so hard in my life, it was so much fun. Climbing the rock wall was also a huge highlight for me because I finally found enough courage in me to climb the rock wall, I may have not climbed all the way o the top but I was proud that I finally tired and did it for
