In this drama and action movie a lot of life lessons could be applicable to multiple audiences. Investing in this movie will bring awareness to issues such as suicide, depression and learning to cope with problems. It will allow people to learn about the impact of suicide to those around them.
In “I’m Sorry”, a woman trying to commit suicide ends a pregnant woman’s life. She can’t deal with the remorse and ends up killing herself.
The setting of this movie will be in a suburban town in Chicago. There is a happy couple who have been together for about 4 years. They are ready to start a family. The wife becomes pregnant and they are both happy because they are finally accomplishing everything they are dreaming of. The role of the wife will fit well with the persona of Jennifer Garner. He realizes that the lady moping in the waiting area, is the lady who called him, the suicide woman. When she notices that he sees her, she tries to leave, but he follows. He catches up to her, and after questioning her of her presence, she says “I’m sorry”. He immediately recognizes her voice from the phone. She repeats her “I’m sorry” and he asks “did you do this?”. She admits to her that his wife’s death is her fault. She tries to say it was just a mistake and wants to make sure the woman is alright. She had only planned to kill herself over her loss of her baby. The husband understands her pain, especially considering he just got his baby, but is still sad over his wife's death and blames her. The police in the hospital overhear his yelling at her and question if she did in fact kill the wife. When she admits to it, they attempt to arrest her. Just when the police, go to grab her, she grabs one of the cops guns from the holster and shoots herself in the head right in the hospital with one final “I’m
