The article “I Want A Wife” by Judy Brady, a extremely intense article written by a substantial feminist of her time. The article written in 1971, is mostly referring to how a wife should conduct herself in the eyes of a male figure. This article had a great impact on the feminist movement in the early 1970’s. Brady’s tone in the article is solemn, yet at the same time could be conceived as humorous, ironic, sarcastic and even dramatic.
