IEKHS Concert Choir

Why should I be accepted into Concert Choir? I recognize that there are many unruly decisions to join choir these days. That is why I am making a pledge to you. To the IEKHS concert choir that I will face the everyday decisions with you as a group that I will bring all I have to the table, and I will make this class one of my number one priorities. Not only will I accomplish those tasks but I will also, to the best of my ability meet all choir requirements that you, the IEKHS concert choir expect me to gain. Even though I have never had any experience in choir, I think of music as an escape to a new world. A world that contained for as long as many remember, their favorite things. I will fully commit to participate to not only
this choir but my education. I will also map out the decisions I will make with all of you. Attending this choir class will teach me the aspects of vocal health, knowledge of choristers, and perceptual analysis of the spoken voice. I am a junior who has never had any experience in choir, none whatsoever, but I am willing to try and succeed. To be in a choir is being assembled to sing together. A choir, combined in a way as to produce beauty of form, harmony, and expression of emotion. By coming to this choir today I pledge my best effort to value my work and contribution to the success of this choir.
