1. According to the reported data, my water intake is still short about 100ml/day, and the fluid mostly comes from water. In order to prevent the dehydration, which might eventually cause coma and death if severe, as well as increased burden on kidney and decreased blood electrolyte caused by over-consumption of water, the better choices will be juices that are fortified vitamins, such as orange juice where usually vitamin A and calcium and some other B-complex vitamins are added other than vitamin C. In addition, a cup of orange juice contains about 120 kcal. Even though my total calorie intake is below, I should still limit the added sugar as much as I can, so one cup per day should be enough to meet the fluid requirement (1638ml) but won’t significantly exceed the total required calorie intake.

1.
Overlap: when referring to a single nutrient, my dietary fiber intake in grams which can be related to vegetable and fruit groups on Myplate report is below the recommendation, and Myplate states the similar fact about my intakes of vegetable and fruit groups. Secondly, nutrient-based summary shows that my diet lacks of many micronutrients, such as vitamin A, folate, and calcium where can be found largely from dairy foods, and the Myplate also signals that the dairy group is significantly lower than the recommendation.
Divergent: the most obvious example is the protein intake; on the nutrient-based assessment my actual intake (72.5 grams) is above the recommendation (42.8 grams), whereas Myplate reports a shortage of 1.1 oz (based on 2000 Calorie intake). Another example is carbohydrate. Since carbs mostly come from grains or fruits for my diet, I might conclude that I have carbs if looking at the Myplate report. However, nutrient-based assessment tells me that my actual intake (222 grams) is below the recommendation (233-337
grams).
2. The first weakness is the intake of micronutrients; even though now I have not felt the severe effects, the truth is that I lack of many of them. The second one is the energy balance; not only the number tells that my average energy intake is low, I also feel l do not have enough calorie for me to last one-day long, probably because I usually skip my lunch if I am at school or just have a piece of bread. Also, I have recently started exercise once a week and that is going to need more calories to burn. On top of that, initially I stated that my strengths are water intake and consumption of vegetables while the variety of veggies could be improved. It turns out, based on Myplate report, I was right the variety problem but intake is still a little lower than the recommendation; similarly, I should increase have more fluid not just because I still below the recommendation but also the increased PA level as mentioned early.
3. The first changing is to obtain regular exercise habit starting with once a week, and the intention is not supposed to be approaching weight loss but a better body metabolism, greater body fat composition, or simply a healthier life pattern; exercise helps me set up a regular bedtime at night which is already proved effective by my behavior change project assigned by other course. For this change that I just started, I have not seen obvious improvement toward metabolism and, of course, the composition of fat, yet the benefit of better sleeping is solid and I know the advantages will be beyond what I expect. Secondly, the change is having regular meals; I will conduct this change by eliminating the habit of not having lunch first, for this is probably the main reason my average daily energy is low and possibly one of the many reasons that is associated with the lacking of many micronutrients in my diet. By this change I expect to cover up the shortage of total calorie needed daily and reduce some disparity between micronutrient actual intake and recommendations.
