The major difference between both the religions is the difference between their Gods, Jesus and Muhammad. However, both of them were spiritual leaders, but they followed different paths to achieve their aim.

Jesus embraced death to save the world, whereas Muhammad turned into a political leader followed, violent military leader to accomplish his mission by brandishing the sword.

Jesus taught non-violence against the enemies of the faith, asking his followers to drop swords in his defence. On the other hand Muhammad preferred violence, that’s why there were lengthy military collection. He also beheaded some of his enemies.
