Dieting can change a person's life for the better or ruin one's health completely. What is your opinion?

As people these days are becoming more conscious about health and wellbeing, diet programme has become one of the popular option in the society. While some people believe dieting can improve the quality of one's life, others think that it only destroys one's health.

Dieting, judging from its original purposes, is designed to help a person to control his food consumption pattern and to restrict the amount of particular food he can take. One perfoms diet programme in order to have an ideal shape of his body while in other situation, one undertakes diet programme as part of the medical treatments. Both of this purposes will definately improve his quality of life and wellbeing. Having a perfect body shape will eventually lead increase his level of confidence while there is no doubt that having a good diet will help a person to recover from certain illnesses.

On the other side of it, compulsive dieting can also create some new problems. Compulsive diet, as some experts believe, can lead to malnutrition due to the lack of food quantities required by one's body. Moreover, when a person does not consume enough nutritions needed to support his daily activities, such as carbohydrate and protein, this can lead to the lack of energy in his body which in turns will result to less-productive life. Additionally, the lack of nutrition will expose his body to some ilnesses such as hypotension and low blood pressure.

In conclussion, I personally believe that appropriate diet programme can help a person improve his quality of life and body wellbeing, but only when that person follows the right procedures. As a suggestion, a person needs to consult his diet programme with the experts so that compulsive dieting can be
