I was a part of this organization in high school and it was definitely a great experience. This group involved several females from our school of various ages, that came together to do things for the community. It was a non-profit organization, where we held fund raisers to in return give back to our community. We had two adult leaders who help us achieve our goals for the year. Our leaders always asked us at meetings what groups we would like to help, and what type of fundraisers we would like to do to raise the money. We did various things like helping needy families, providing free school supplies for children, and helping those who were affected by disasters such as house fires. The leaders of the group always ensured that we were involved in coming up with ideas of how we could give back to our community. We always achieved good results from giving back to the community. It felt good knowing that we could help make a difference in someones life. I gained a lot of knowledge about leadership, and giving back by being a part of this organization. It was inspiring to know that we could come together and help those who were in need. I believe that the leaders involving us in the decisions and gaining an understanding of what the community needed helped us achieve good

Gan, PhD (N.D.), “All people have his or her set of personal values that come from society, families, religions, and experiences”. Companies know-a day’s try to onboard people whose personal values lattice with the company’s. However, one’s personal values will eventually conflict with organizational business protocols because any business looking to make money is not always going to make decisions based on people’s feelings. A business at some time must decide to do what is best for the company and sometimes the decision is not necessarily what’s best for the employees but more so for the board of trustees. That, in my opinion is when one’s personal values are in conflict with organizational/interpersonal business protocols.…

All throughout school I have participated in many clubs and organizations that have not only molded me as a person, but have helped me to develop responsibility, and leadership skills. Currently I am an active member of National Honor Society, and DECA. Both of these organizations, provided by my high school, encourage leadership, volunteer work, and have high expectations for behavior, and grades. Being in National Honor Society has shown me to continually do for others in need. There are always opportunities to get involved with the community, and even create drives for things like stuffed animals, and blankets for children who are sick in the hospital, and “Care Catties” for cancer patients, which include tissues, water bottles, hard candy, and lotion. DECA is another organization I am involved in at Frenship High School. DECA is a business organization for high school marketing students looking to learn, develop and compete in a competitive event. I have been a member since my sophomore…
