If You Win a Million Dollars
Winning a lottery is a luckiest thing that can happen to anybody. It makes a person feel on top of the world. I would feel the same way just like everybody else. On the other hand, if the lottery amount is in range which can fulfill any wish one can have, it will make the life most amazing beautiful heaven. If I win a $50 million dollar in the New Jersey lottery my life will be a miracle. It will first give me opportunities to achieve not only my wishes but those wishes which I can only dream and it take a long way to reach them. For instance, I will take care of my family, with myself and I would also like to donate some money for poor people back in my country. As I mentioned that I will take care of my family, it includes a lot of never ending requirements. Since my family and I live in a town house apartment, I would like to buy a new house for my family. We hardly fit in our space. It is a spacious apartment but not much for a 6 member family. I have 2 sisters. I and my sister share a room. It is fun to have a sister in a room. It means a lot to me that she is always closer to me and there for me whenever I need her. But everybody reaches a level in their life where privacy is very important. Therefore I believe that every individual in a house must have their own space where they can have as much privacy as they want. Moreover my mom and dad have a big family. They always like to have get together and celebrate any event together. Getting a big house will fill my mom and dad wish and will make life much easier. Everybody has a way of earning. A way which suits them and makes their life flow the way they want it to be. Our family is really connected dependent on each other. Nobody has a problem with that. But if my luck gives me such an opportunity I would definitely like to modify our way of earning. My mom baby sits and she is tired of doing that I will ask her to take a break from work since she hasn't in past 5 years. My dad is a heart and diabetic patient. But he hasn't stopped working. He drives a limo and does a property business as part time with his savings. I would want him to quit his limo job and start property business on larger scale. This will give my mom and dad a wealthy and healthy life. Such an opportunity brings a list of things to do which is never ending. I would definitely like to spend some on myself and my brother and sisters. We all are in colleges and have a lot of loans. Along with this we work part time with full time college. It does get hard in the middle. Not only that but we also haven't had vacations in past 5 years. I don't work yet because my family thinks that it is important for me to focus on my studies. However, they provide me any and every thing. My sisters go to New York City for their college every day. They don't dorm there because it's expensive and they have jobs here. I would definitely like to help them out. We share 2 cars. Yes, it is hard to share 2 cars in 5 people since my mom does not drive. I would like to buy car for myself and my brother and sisters. Beside this I have so many things that it feels like 50 million dollar might be less for all this. I want to get a lap top, iPod, a lot of shopping. I also want to do one thing. I want to go on a world tour with my family. It will be my biggest dream coming true. There is also something that I want to achieve in my life. I want to do something that gives me some peace. There are a lot of people on this world who are suffering just because they don't have enough earning, those who are dying because they don't have enough money to afford their treatment. A lot of such incidences are founding my country. I would like to do something for such people. Such donate money in some charity, help sick people, provide home to homeless or may be provide education to children who are not able to. Last but not the least, it's not very easy to win the lottery but very easy to list number of things that are needed. . It all depends on luck and when will I get that lucky, no one knows. But if I get that lucky it not only includes me but my family members who are always there for me and have always provides me the best.

When hearing the word “lottery,” most of us will think about winning a prize and believe that becoming a lottery winner is very lucky. However, it is not always true, as winning the lottery can be bad news. This can be seen in “The Lottery,” written by Shirley Jackson in 1948. She uses a lot of imagery that carries symbolic significance in her story. By using symbolism, she illustrates a beautiful setting to conceal the true meaning and intent of the lottery. At first, Jackson describes the day of June 27th as “clear and sunny, with the fresh warmth of a full-summer day; the flowers were blossoming profusely and the grass was richly green” (Jackson 127). The setting makes us feel that day is a great summer day. Unfortunately, it is not like…

I grew up in a decently well off family when it came to money. I did not have to worry about getting a job at a young age, but I was never handed everything in life. I had to work for it whether it be through chores or through owing money back for what I wanted to get. My father lost his job several times while I was growing up. This was because either a company was shutting down or because he would refuse to cheat in order to make money. This was hard on our family and because my mom was a pre-school teacher, there was not a lot of money coming into the house as I became older. I mentioned several times to my parents about getting a job and they were neither for it nor against it. If I wanted a job I could get one, if I did not want a…

The purpose of owning a house in the modern age is mostly associated with the idea that we have to settle down with a family of our own. The truth behind the ideology is that homes have been essential to primitive human survival; it has never been about family. Without shelter, our bodies would be exposed to the natural climate and other dangers which could result in sickness such as hypothermia. In shorter terms a house was originally used as a defense method that would combat natural threats. (Funk & Wagnalls New World Encyclopedia, 2016) However having a home does not necessarily guarantee that you won’t become sick. Sometimes, the problem is on the inside.…

These individuals think that they will live a luxurious life. They thought this new found fortune will actually bring them happiness. However, the opposite is observed. While these winners had the money, they were able to fulfill a temporary happiness. The winner must continuously spend…

Increasing the amount of space you have can increase your happiness. One struggle for young people is having a place of their own. Many young people move back in with their parents or get a roomate to help pay rent. Moving in with someone after being independent can be upsetting to the person themself and whoever they live with. If the people don't get along well, the situation can be even worse. Lack of privacy and freedom from sharing a small place can result in more disagreements and even a hostile environment. Being able to live in a bigger space would give each person more privacy and freedom to do what they please. Given these things, people will be happier in the long run. Other times, parents have to try to squeeze themselves and their kids in a tiny apartment in order to be able to pay the bills. This many people in such a small space is not ideal, yet unfortunately, it's a reality for many poor families. The kids have less room to play and run around, especially if they can't disturb the neighbors. Living in an bigger place would allow the kids to run and play more, and as a result, be happier. Having more space also enables people to invite their friends and family over. It's always fun when friends and family come over to hang out. Plus it's cheaper than going out and doing something. At home, a person can do things with their friends that will create memories that might not be possible in a small space. A bigger space allows a person to do more, have more, and be…
