parts required to accomplish this mission are vast and numerous. The sheer
number of moving parts is astounding. And these moving parts are not free. Not
only is it equipment that I’m referencing; but also personnel. Together all of these
things comprise the necessities of what it takes to fulfill a mission as large as the one
Army undertakes. That mission summarized boils down to national defense with
the primary responsibility being the land domain. The focus of this essay being the
importance of accountability in the scope of Army operations. We will discuss the
importance of accountability as it pertains to personnel, equipment, and time. At
the end,
we will hit the main points yet again but in a more concise format to bring it
all home. This will be just a run of the mill, simple, five paragraph essay with the

When we speak of accountability in the Army, the first thing that comes to
mind is equipment. We have dedicated much time and effort to ensure that we keep
track of the equipment that assists and is necessary to carry out operations that may
seem menial in nature but play a large role. We conduct the ever loved inventories
on a regular basis to ensure that we have the equipment in order to facilitate
missions and the keep the Army moving forward in an efficient manner. These
inventories include sensitive items inventories, Pre-combat checks and Pre-combat
inspections, hand receipt holder’s inventories, clothing records checks, and too
