Rules are made to keep that place functioning in well conditions. Sometimes some people tell you that you must follow directions so that everything can go in an orderly fashion. It is important to do so because they know what's going to happen if you don't. You will know what to do immediately because you listened and read the directions. Many kids don't read the directions and they have no clue what to do. When that happens they would usually mess up because the don’t know what to do.
So anyways follow the directions on tests and any other important item that is being given. Always read the directions and kids will do so much better in school and in life. Teachers don't like it when they have to repeat over and over again. The reason could be an underlying problem, like a disinterest in the subject matter. Or it may very well be that the professor or teacher gives instructions that are confusing and hard to understand.
