“Some experts (athletes, dancers, musicians visual artists, cabinet makers lab technicians, mechanics, surgeons, etc.) may have acquired knowledge that is difficult to explain in words. However, most of the time, language plays as a role to develop the basics of learning. After learning the basics, perception develops; one sense develops more than the other, depending on the person. Through thinking and reasoning after learning the basics; it starts making sense logically. Then, emotion decides for us either if we like it or not.

Perception plays a big role in an artists life also because many

Visual art plays on our perceptions of the meanings we associate with images, form, color, and their context. Our perceptions are very subjective. The author states that “We construct the meaning of things through the process of representing them.” This idea relates directly to my process of art-making and personal discovery. By making, my unconscious mind and my conscious mind work simultaneously through my hands. It is only through this process and by subsequently distancing myself from the work to observe the product of my labor that I am able to label and assign meaning to the imagery that has been revealed to me.…

Language molds your thinking in a certain way. For example in how language molds your thinking in a certain way, there could be two of the same words but could also have different meaning. Language could also determine your perception. I think the connection between language and perception is very important. How we use language depends on how we perceive it. How we perceive things is shaped by our mind, how it is structured and functions and our experiences. If we have trouble putting our experiences into words, then we might not be communicating the way we really want to. For an example, I think my dads have difficulty relaying his perceptions into sentences or maybe he just has very different perceptions from me because it seems like we are never on the same page. Even if we were to go through the same thing he will always say something completely different than me. Regardless of what he’s…

So, understanding all these possibilities for knowledge that are opened to us by our senses are numerous. Using our senses, we can learn, understand and the most importantly, we perceive how the world around us looks. So senses are a way to "see" our world. This has as a result to learn our world. Using or sense of sight we can understand if something is beautiful or we can see the color that something has. Using our sense of hearing we can understand if we like something using a different way. For example, we can listen to music and we can understand it. But also with this sense we can understand a lot other things. We can listen to music and understand that we are threatened or we can hear a "suspicious" noise and we understand this. With our sense oftouch we can…
