basically felt like the government was trying to gain that sense of power. Also from my understanding he wanted to help support Mexicans during the Mexican American War. In “Simplicity” which was from his book called walden it could some what represent our present day, because of the “Economy “ section he writes. He’s basically shows dissatisfaction in his financial life. Some of us today feel the same as he does because of the way his life started off. Some of us can't afford new things so we have to treat our old like new. As of my prospective I feel like he’s saying people should be their self and to be simple. Don't let money or monetary objects define who you are as a person.
“A Man for All Season” was the last story that I connected with in a way. He entertained his readers by using identifying and relative tones to help understand what we were reading. Also I believed his purpose of writing this particular article is to introduce his readers to walden.
In conclusion, Thoreau was a goddess at writing books and novels and poems. It allows you to learn about other, and there whole aspects of yet life alone. He talks about what's going on around us and about war, let alone it teaches us values. While reading Thoreau’s books and inspirational work it gives us different viewpoints and life itself .
