Improving Organization Retention Paper
JC’s casino is a lovely resort where people go to stay and enjoy themselves. The JC’s casino has a supportive work environment that offers equal opportunity to the employees, they are offered excellent wages, good benefits and have the opportunity for advancement within the company. Within the casino there are problems and management has contracted an independent consultant to help with retention and issues the employees are having.
Rudeness is at the low end of the continuum of workplace abuse; workplace rudeness isn 't violence or harassment or even open conflict, although it can build up to any of those things. Links between the work environment and indicators of employee loyalty, commitment, and

In JC’s casino the absenteeism and high volume of overturns have caused counterproductive behavior. The retention at the casino caused money and time to be wasted, because management had to spend more money for recruiting new employees. The casino can also lose money because of the absenteeism, it causes problems with production because there is no staff on the floor. The absenteeism also causes a problem for the other employees filling in, they can be psychologically affected because there is a high volume of stress and pressure on them. The consultant knows Joe the pit boss is not a team player and he is the reason why the casino is losing employees. The behavior of Joe is a counterproductive behavior because Joe has no communication skills, and this caused problems with Joe and the employees, there is no respect between them. The counterproductive behavior that Joe displays can damage the reputation of the casino if there is not something done. Once the manager knows the problem it is their responsibility to reduce the counterproductively behavior. The manager documents the problem and writes down a solution to the problem to help him discuss behavior and explain how it affects the employees. The consultant recommends the manager provide a safe and secure environment for employees to release stress and frustrations. The new recruitment at the casino needs to be based on required skills and more incentives. At the casino the human resource department needs to implement training and awareness programs for employees and create better communication between the employees and management. The human resource department will take all reports into consideration concerning the employees and Joe. Now that the reason for losing employees has been discovered maybe talking to Joe will help things to change for the better. It is possible that Joe may need to talk to someone to figure out why he gives the employees a hard
