The book "in the family" relates to my family's in a couple of ways just no one in my family is that selfish to go and get themselves killed. The reason it relates to me and my family is because we have kept secrets that are not worth keeping but we keep them anyway. Whether i t is from people o thers or from each other. This relates to the book by the following. One is that the family quotes that "let the house burn as long as no one sees the smoke" meaning that it is their secret and no one needs to know about it.
