I was born in India and I have spent 17 years in India and then I came here in United States. There is lot of difference between these two countries. Today I would like to tell about Indian culture and tradition. India is known for its culture and tradition. Indian culture is believed one of the oldest cultures. Indian cultural history is older than 5000 years. There are many religions, which are founded in India like Hinduism, Buddhism, Jain and shikh etc. Hinduism is world’s 4th largest religion in the world. Every state of India has its own culture and tradition. They are famous for their different language, religion, dance, music and food etc. India is one of the most religiously different nations in the world. People can choose their own religion and they can celebrate the festival of their religion. All people live in unity in India and they even celebrate other religion’s festival and enjoy with others.
There are 328 languages spoken which is spoken in all over India. There are 18 official languages in India. There are 29 states, 5 union territories. Indian population is more than 1.1 Billion. India is world’s largest democracy. India is world’s 4th largest economy. India is 3rd largest standing army force, over 1.5Million strong. India has 2nd largest pool of scientists and engineers in the World.
