I noticed the majority of the countries in a continent had a similar number. For example South America was predominantly blue in life expectancy meaning the average life expectancy is between 79 and 70 years old. Something else that I noticed between my map of percentage of unemployment and also in Monthly Income was Ghana, Togo and Bolivia had very low percentages of unemployment but were only making $1000 to $600 per month. This is interesting because in North America it’s the opposite, they are both in the middle for unemployment percentage but are in the highest tier for monthly income. In my country trends were the opposite, Indigenous communities in Canada were lower than the non-indigenous population for every developmental indicator. Canadas Indigenous population rating of unemployment was the same as Sudan, Egypt and Iran. Even more notable is that Canadas Indigenous people on unemployment were worse than Nigeria, Philippians and Columbia.
Finding Developmental indicators for Indigenous communities in Canada was very hard, I looked at INAC, Aboriginal Health and Wellness and Statistics Canada. I struggled with finding adequate developmental statistics that I could compare for other places around the world as well. The indicators I decided upon correlate with each other and with Health, Economics and sociocultural
