Individuality Brings Leadership
Individuality Brings Leadership
In a community where one is expected to fit in with the group and not standout, anyone who expresses individuality is bound to stand out and make an important identity in that society. Individuality can make leaders, which have the potential to bring a long-term positive change to a modern society.
Individuality creates leaders in any society. When a human has an attitude of being content with themselves to the point where they can freely express themselves, it brings out a great deal of self confidence. This confidence can be positive, and because humans are naturally attracted to people with self-confidence, these people that show individuality will have the ability to then command the respect of their peers and naturally rise to be leaders. Martin Luther King was a person that used Individuality to be a leader in his society. Without this great leader thinking the way he wasn’t “supposed to”, and leading peaceful revolutions to stop slavery and segregation we wouldn’t have the United States we have today. Because of his self-confidence, individuality, and support from people that followed him, he was successful in changing history to make his community and the world a much better place.
Being a good leader can bring change to a society in many ways. When human beings have a feeling of loyalty to a figure they will automatically want to work hard to please him/her. With the majority of the people working hard/compassionately, the society will start to already see a change economically and politically rising. When the area becomes economically and politically strong due to the efforts of the people, the region starts to gradually get modified and bring in more and more of a population, bringing more diverse opportunities, such as scientists, engineers, artisans, and different

He helped make the United States of America a better place by passing the Civil Rights Act of 1965. He also made a difference by motivating the crew of Apollo 11 to be the first people to reach the moon. George Washington made an impact on history by leading the American militia against the British forces. I am strong-minded, independent, and most of all a leader. In our day-to-day lives we always have outside sources trying to manipulate our thoughts. If one does not have a strong mind, they will not have their own beliefs. I try to not allow others to make-up my mind for me. I use facts and my own opinions to come to a logical conclusion. This falls in line with being independent. Even though most of my social interaction throughout life have been in a group setting, from playing organized sports to being in the military, not allowing myself be overcome with group thought (mob mentality) has been a strong point in my life. Being independent has its ups and downs make me different from others. This is where the use of my leadership skills plays to my favor. As a leader, I can make others see my point of view. In most cases, others want to know my opinion and/or thoughts on a particular question. This is who I am.…

A good leader is, in my perception, a person who, like Jim Collins is shy and strong at the same time, which does live, as also Bernabè did, for the achievement of the company o the society he is operating for and not for the personal achievement. Ever since I was younger, I possessed unique individual qualities. I was always the girl in class who always reminded the teacher about homework, the one who never missed an assignment, and the one who always made the honor roll. In fact, I never settled for mediocre because I knew one day it will pay off. Throughout my educational career, I’ve learned that being yourself is the key to becoming successful. The world is filled with people attempting to duplicate someone which is why I’ve always pushed myself to be unique. I devote much time in expressing my individual capabilities. Whether it’s singing on the choir or going more in depth into my spirituality; I always leave room for me. I am a firm believer in devoting my time to my individualism. When a person knows there inner-self and can come to turns with their problems, it shows a high level of maturity.…

Being a leader rather than a follower is something not many people know the difference between. Politics is a great example; it is a good thing that we have different parties so we can get the opinions from a different side. However, religion is another topic where individuality is key. Our society considers someone who stands up for their faith and doesn’t back down an accomplished person; yet frowns upon it in schools. Contrary to what we should do, society tends to rate and judge others greatly. Though we may be a bit different and differ in opinions we all should be treated equally, just as our founding fathers wrote it. The society we have built for today scares many people because we are sometimes subconsciously told to be a certain way or to do a certain thing and we are losing our ability at freedom to be who we are.…
