I completed my undergraduate from Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology, one of the premier engineering institutions in Mumbai. My interest to pursue a Masters grew when I was introduced to courses like Fundamentals of Industrial Engineering & Enterprise Resource Planning, Manufacturing, Planning & Control, Operations Research, Business Process Re-Engineering and Supply Chain Management, which constitute the basic operations of a Manufacturing or a Service industry. I have presented papers on Sales Forecasting, Quality Control Tools, Supply Chain Management and Financial Markets. These presentations reinforced my fundamentals in the courses I took up and have increased my desire to further research in these areas. Having acquired the fundamentals from the above mentioned courses, I am eager to explore the ever expanding field of Industrial Engineering.
