Culture Of Quality In And Infant/Toddler Program In looking at different programs the main foundation or philosophy is that a child can learn to create a positive relationship. An infant/toddler need to learn how to use and manage a relationship internally and externally from their program. The positive and numerous encountered the infants experiences during their life can impact the procedure of how they are able to manage their emotional state. Providing a positive sense of self will allow the child to construct positive relationships with peers around their environment. During the beginning years of life the main environment for the infant/toddler will be home and their program. However, as they get older they will need this skill if they want to foster other relationship with people. Caregiver need to start by analyzing their classroom because there are many ways that they can modeling cultural diversity. The classroom should have different models of diversity like puppets, rugs, art, food, pictures, books, toys, and more since this is the space the child spend most of their day (Santora, 2012).. For children to be able to generate positive attitude or a fair sense of diversity all caregivers need to teach how to value and respect diversity within their environment (Santora, 2012). All caregivers means anyone that plays a role in the child's daily routine because everyone has an impact on their life. The positive diversity encounters that the child has within their program will increase their sense of self. Children will then be able to create and internalize same encounters outside their program. "Young children experience their world as an environment of relationships, and these relationships affect virtually all aspects of their development" (National Scientific Council on the Developing Child, 2004).     I believe that the best practices in early childhood education include children’s ideas, parent’s values and teacher’s suggestions. All of these will benefit children’s learning as well as give them a good understanding of the environment around them.
