Influence Essaay
The two people that have influenced my life the most are my parents. They are the ones that get to know me the best .My parents have influenced me and helped me. So they have become my biggest influences. It happened and happens almost every month or two so this lesson influenced and still influences me every day but the gist is do not get angry or you’ll regret it. What happened was that one day at home I had a bad day so I was not in the best mood. Then the slightest thing triggered me yelling or getting angry at someone for no good reason. So what happened was I was walking around the house fuming when my parents came walking by I was angry so when they said “hi” or “good morning” I would just get angry at them. This happened for a while and I got punishments at the time I was just annoyed or it just got me angrier but now I see it was just discipline to show that you can’t just get angry, throw a fit and rage at everyone, you have to control your anger and solve your problems

A way they have helped me and it has affected my life is when they have helped me with homework and studying. Even though I don’t want to work on school work when I get home, I just want to play a game, have a snack and rest for tomorrow. Though many times and years of work they have put a very strong influence on me that whatever you do it will and your work first so they have put a good, strong and helpful influence on me that will stay with me for most likely the rest of my life. They have stressed this so much that this will most likely stay with me for the rest of my life “whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God”.

Another way my parents have influenced me for the rest of my life is honesty, I am not always honest but one thing that they have said from the start don’t lie, it won’t get you anywhere, it will make the situation worse. I have not always followed this advice but one thing I have learned is that it is correct and lying won’t

The people that has have influenced me the most are my parents. My parents are always there for me through thick and thin. They have taught me right from wrong and have guided me the right way throughout life. They have influenced me so much. Because of them I am a responsible young adult. I take responsibility for my own actions. They have taught me to care for others. There is a saying they used to always tell me. “Do to others as you would have them to do to you.” This saying is from the bible in chapter Luke 6:31. My parents have also greatly influenced my religious and political views, but I will not go into that. My parents also taught me to treat others equally because everyone has feelings and we are all the same on this inside. I don’t make fun of people or judge them by the way they look or how they act. They have also told me what not to do in life. For example, don’t drink, don’t smoke, don’t do anything illegal. These things can most of time ruin your life. I am so glad they told and taught me about these things at a young age because if they didn’t I might not…

My mother and father have taught me different techniques to live life. When I was in high school I obeyed my parents, but I did not understand why they said certain things until college. In high school my parents would tell me to control my emotions. When they told me to control my emotions I thought how can people have sovereignty over their emotions. In my freshman year of college, I realized what my parents meant. I am constantly put into high stress situations where I need to exercise control of my emotions. For example, when I take a math test I get very paranoid and anxious but I learned to conquer my feelings by taking deep breaths and rationalizing the situation. I usually breath and remind myself of where I am and that I am going to finish the test with my best effort that I can give within the time allotted. Plato's Allegory of the Cave portrays prisoners who have been held captive in chains for their entire childhood. The free prisoner was unable to use any preconceived knowledge from childhood. In contrast, I will always be able to rely on my parents’ influence on me as a child. At first, my parents shared words of wisdom with me, and I would listen but not truly understand. In college, I have dealt with many situations by using the lessons my parents taught me as a high schooler. My parents’ words have given me insight for the future so that I am able to become an independent…

My family environment has influenced me a lot especially when my siblings were born. I am the oldest out of five, so I'm always look up to. I always had to make a good example and never show that I was scared. When my mom and stepdad had to work, I would take care of them until they came back while getting my schoolwork and practicing my instrument done too. I never really had a chance to be a kid, I always had to be a mother to my siblings. I would always wish for more time in the day for myself, Although watching them grow up from when they were small and started school for the first time made up for that loss time. I live up to a quote, "Be the master of your future, not the slave of your problems." My senior year I had to stop being…

You will know the right thing from the wrong thing.” I knew that my father trusted me because what he had taught me. My mother told me, ”Abdul, focus on your schoolwork. As for me I would never want my parents upset with me so I always did as I was told. At eight years old I could not ride my bike by myself around the block, which always upset me because my brothers were allowed to go to their friend’s houses which were a mile to five miles away. Anger and Temper

As people, we have a habit of overreacting to almost everything. This little quirk is usually heightened in kids and teenagers, causing lots and lots of problems. Most kids don't like to listen to their authority and having a bad temper does not help them as far as getting along with others. Most children have problems in school about “not playing well with others”, and while this is not such a big deal with most people, some take it a bit too far and resort to physical violence. This is a major setback when you are in school because aside from the obvious consequences (i.e. getting suspended) you also have many minor problems that might stem from one situation in which you let anger get the best of you. I have seen kids lose all of their friends just because they decided to fight with someone. If you fight with the wrong person, everyone might decide not to like you anymore. You might become labeled a bully and get a negative reputation which follows you into highschool and college. Getting rid of a bad reputation is one of the hardest things to accomplish majorly due to the fact that kids have big mouths and like to talk about other kids. The most obvious thing that stands out to me when I think of consequences from fighting is my parents. I know that if my parents ever got a call that I hit someone, I would be getting in A LOT of trouble at home. Doing things like that follow you places. You might only get into a fight once but that fight will come up again and again until the day you die. Just ask the Will Smith. He got in one little fight and his mom got scared and said “Youre moving with your Auntie and Uncle in Bel Air.” Dont be Will Smith.…
